Please join us in our state capital Saturday night for a Vigil for Orlando and for No More Hate, Violence, and Fear.
Saturday June 18
Annapolis City Dock
1 Dock St, Annapolis, MD 21401
We will be led by our own Rabia Zahir, from the Islamic Society of Southern Maryland in Prince Frederick, who will speak during this candlelight vigil.
Our Calvert County group will gather to carpool at 6:00pm at the intersection of Rt. 2 and Rt. 4, in the parking lot of All Saints/Broadview Churches, 100 Marlboro Rd, Sunderland . (We suggest that you carpool, but, if not, please arrive early, and park in Hillman parking garage, 150 Gorman Street , Annapolis, MD 21401)
We grieve with the Orlando locals who lost their loved ones on Sunday. We stand against hate, violence, and fear. And, along with all those whose loved ones have become victims to hate crimes and gun violence, we say no more!
If you want, please bring signs that speak peace, flags, or a candle to share.
Please direct any questions to Rev Jen.
