You’re invited to join a webinar tomorrow at 1pm ET with Pravina Raghavan, Deputy Associate Administrator for the Small Business Administration’s Office of Investment and Innovation, for a conversation on the current state of the crowdfunding landscape as it applies to small business owners.
Raghavan will discuss the history of crowdfunding as well as the current status of the equity crowdfunding rules as proposed by the SEC. She’ll answer questions on the role the SBA foresees itself playing as equity crowdfunding becomes a more permanent option for small businesses to get access to capital. Participants will also have the chance to discuss ways they can formally engage in the rule-making process by communicating with the SEC during the open comment period (which closes on February 3rd).
Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions both during and ahead of the webinar. You may ask live during the call or send your questions to @BusinessForward on Twitter using #Crowdfund4Biz. This call is off-the-record and not for press purposes.
