The Career & Technology Academy is currently planning their 27th Annual SkillsUSA Bowl-A-Thon. This year we will host the
Bowl-A-Thon on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at the Lord Calvert Bowling Alley, located in Huntingtown. Proceeds from this event will
be used to cover expenses needed for the many local, state and national conferences and competitions scheduled for our high
school students throughout the school year.
Each year, Career & Technology Academy students attend the National Competition representing Calvert County. Two SkillsUSA
State Officers attend the Conference as voting delegates and attend Officer 101/201 training. The experience and knowledge gained
during their week at Nationals (which is in Louisville, KY) is rewarding and will be memorable for years to come. Expenses for the
competition add up but the rewards to each student competing are priceless! I know economic times are tough, but your support of
this worthwhile fundraiser will be a rewarding one for our students.
We are asking our friends in business to donate money, services or goods to help support this event. Services and goods will be used
as door prizes given out during the event. Your sponsorship will be advertised in a booklet that is published by our Graphic Arts
students and will be available to bowlers on the day of the event. FREE ADVERTISEMENT and a tax write off FOR YOU!
